What to include on a tree service invoice

  • Invoice number and the date the job was completed
  • Property address, so the customer can match it to the right job if they have multiple properties
  • Line items matching the original estimate — no surprise charges at the end
  • Clear payment terms: due date, accepted payment methods, late fee policy if any
  • Your business name, contact info and, if applicable, license or insurance details

Printable invoice vs. invoicing in ArboristDesk

A printable template is fine when invoices go out one at a time and get paid by check. It gets harder to keep track of once you're running several jobs a week and need to know which invoices are still outstanding. ArboristDesk's invoicing feature turns a completed job straight into an invoice with the same line items as the original estimate, adds an online payment link, and sends automatic reminders on anything overdue — so nothing sits unpaid because it fell out of view.
